Oak garages and carports. One energy system. One team to build it all.
We don't bolt solar panels onto someone else's frame. We design the oak structure and the energy system together — so everything works, everything fits, and you deal with one person from start to finish.
Oak garages and carports. Generate from the roof.
Most solar carports and garages are steel frames with panels bolted on top. Ours are hand-built oak structures where the solar tiles are the roof — designed together from the start so everything fits, everything works, and it actually looks like it belongs on your property.
Built from oak that lasts generations
French D30 grade or English oak, hand-selected and jointed using traditional carpentry. This isn't a kit assembly — every frame is cut and fitted by the same craftsman who designed it.
The solar tiles are the roof — not stuck on top of it
No ugly panels, no roof penetrations, no compromise. The tiles generate energy while keeping your vehicles dry. From the ground, it just looks like a beautiful roof.
Pick the size that fits your driveway
- 2-bay garages and carports for single or dual vehicle parking
- 3-bay garages and carports for expanded capacity and storage
- 4-bay garages and carports for multi-vehicle households and workshops
- Optional log stores for firewood and garden tools
- Motorised garage doors for secure vehicle storage
- Side infill panels for weather protection
Charge your car from your own roof
Every garage and carport comes pre-wired for EV charging. Add a MyEnergi Zappi and your car charges from solar first — you only draw from the grid when the sun isn't shining. That's £400–£500 a year you're not paying to your energy supplier.
Guide prices from £31,485 inc. VAT
Typical generation: 4–8kW system
Installation timeline: 4–6 weeks from approval
An outdoor room that generates energy
Most pergolas just sit there looking nice. Ours earn their keep — solar tiles in the roof generate energy while giving you shade in summer and shelter in winter. The oak frame adds genuine value to your property, and the energy savings mean it pays for itself over time.
Same oak, same craftsmanship as our carports
French D30 or English oak, hand-cut joints, built to last decades. The only difference is the shape — the quality is identical.
Solar tiles you won't notice until you see your energy bill
No panels visible from below, no ugly frames. The solar tiles are the roof itself — generating energy while keeping you dry. From underneath, it's just a beautiful oak ceiling.
Sized to fit your garden, not a catalogue
- Bespoke sizing to suit any property and garden layout
- Optional glass side infills for enhanced weather protection
- Perfect for patios, garden rooms, and hot tub enclosures
- Can integrate with garden lighting and outdoor heating systems
Feeds straight into your home energy system
What the pergola generates goes into your battery, powers your house, or feeds back to the grid for credit. It's not decorative solar — it's a real contributor to your energy independence.
Generate it. Store it. Drive on it.
Solar, battery, and EV charging — designed as one system, installed by one team. No juggling three contractors who blame each other when something doesn't work.
☀️ Solar Integration
Our systems feature SolarEdge-optimised inverters paired with integrated solar tiles that double as your roof. We assess your property's orientation, shading, and consumption to size a system that maximises generation and efficiency.
Why integrated tiles: More beautiful, better weatherproofing, no roof penetrations, and superior aesthetic integration with oak frames.
🔋 Home Battery Storage
Store your solar energy for use when the sun isn't shining — or export to the grid when tariff rates are highest. We specify home battery storage systems from industry-leading partners GivEnergy and MyEnergi, sized precisely to your household's energy profile. With 0% VAT on battery storage systems in the UK, there's never been a better time to invest.
Smart sizing: We match battery capacity to your actual usage, avoiding oversizing and unnecessary expense.
⚡ Solar EV Charging
MyEnergi Zappi home EV chargers integrate solar priority charging, ensuring your vehicle charges first from your own renewable generation. With UK homeowners saving £400–£500 annually by switching to smart EV tariffs, your solar carport effectively pays for its own EV charging. Future-proof wiring supports expanding EV adoption as your household needs grow.
Solar first: Charge your vehicle with renewable energy, minimising grid consumption and maximising savings.
What you actually get for your money
One person to call — for everything
The craftsman who designs your frame is the same person who manages your build. No call centres, no being passed around. One relationship from first conversation to handover.
We handle planning — you don't have to
Planning applications, building control, DNO notifications. We do the paperwork and tell you when it's approved. You don't have to learn how the system works.
The price we quote is the price you pay
Fixed price, agreed before we start. No "unforeseen extras" six weeks in. If something costs more than expected, that's our problem, not yours.
10-year guarantee on the frame
Oak gets stronger as it seasons. We guarantee the structural integrity of every frame we build for a full decade. Most will last many times that.
MCS certified installation
Your solar system is installed to MCS standards — the UK's quality mark for renewable energy. This matters for warranty claims, insurance, and resale value.
12 months of monitoring included
After handover, we monitor your system for a full year to make sure everything performs as designed. If something needs adjusting, we come back and fix it.
Planning permission & building regulations
Oak frame solar carports and pergolas may require planning permission depending on your property's location, size, and whether it falls within a conservation area or near a listed building. We handle planning applications on your behalf as part of every project, but the outcome is determined by your local planning authority.
All installations must comply with relevant building regulations, including structural, electrical, and energy performance standards. We notify your Distribution Network Operator (DNO) as required for grid-connected solar systems.
